The Visual Art Journal is a compilation of Artists around the world and a platform for them to talk about what drives them, their passion, and their personal journey. The Magazine features up to 120 beautifully designed pages. Visual Art Journal is distributed globally and available digitally. It has been a great experience participating in their feature.

From September 7th to October 31st, the Jackalope Gallery will host a variety of artists in their Autumn show "For Arts Sake". I have the pleasure to be part of the collection of artists pushing boundaries and filling the gallery with pieces that fall outside the lines.

The Exhibition: "CHANGE" being hosted by the @guelpharts at @artbar_gac from Sept 10th through Oct 31 invites thought-provoking dialogue among artists and viewers, emphasizing the transformative power of Change... interpreted in various ways, including personal transformation, lifecycles, nature, the environment, cultural shifts, technological evolution, and history. I love playing with layers and shapes to create shadows as part of the finished work. My pieces explore the cycle and symbiotic relationships within nature and work to capture a moment in time as erosion, climate change, and eco-tourism change the coastal landscape year over year.

The Big Ideas show is a coveted juried show from artists across Ontario and will run July 2024 at the Paula White Diamond Gallery in Waterloo. I am so pleased to be part of this show! The 3x4 ft piece is a combination of mild steel, acid-carbon treated steel, and copper in 7 layers to mimic the stark differences in rock formations along the Kawartha lake shorelines.

The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce awards outstanding citizens, businesses, and, now, trees! In partnership with the Elora Environment Centre, the Chamber of Commerce is recognizing the citizen's choice for Tree of the Year. A campaign ran across Southern Ontario last year and 6 trees in 6 communities were crowned as outstanding.

I had the privilege to be part of an exhibition running along side the Tom Thomson gallery in July and August 2023. The exhibit showcased artists across Southern Ontario paying homage to the 100+ year old English Oak that shades Tom Thomson's grave in Leith Cemetery.
