PROJECTS
This is the spot where I can showcase some of the large scale, custom, and odd projects that pop up.

Always create. Always try new things. Always learn.
Tom Thomson: Life & Death
We had the privilege to be part of an exhibition running along side the Tom Thomson gallery in July and August 2023. The exhibit showcased artists across Southern Ontario paying homage to the 100+ year old English Oak that shades Tom Thomson's grave in Leith Cemetery.

We chose to start with the striking silhouette of the Leith Tree itself and build depth in mixed metals like copper.
For a finishing touch, the gps coordinates are stamped and attached to the piece.
Chamber of Commerce Award of Excellence
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce awards outstanding citizens, businesses, and, now, trees! In partnership with the Elora Environment Centre, the Chamber of Commerce is recognizing the citizen's choice for Tree of the Year.
A campaign ran across Southern Ontario last year and 6 trees in 6 communities were crowned as outstanding.

Instead of the standard award, the Tree of the Year award will be an iconic black silhouette with the gps coordinates of the tree and will be awarded at the May 2024 gala.
Big Ideas Gallery Exhibit
The Big Ideas show is a coveted juried show from artists across Ontario and will run July and August 2024 at the Paul Diamond White Gallery in Waterloo.

It's a wild ride and a little daunting to be the tactile metal work in a sea of paintings, but I love the flow of the entry and what it showcases.
